Petition # 1
WE, THE PEOPLE, WANT THE VOTE - AND THE FLAG BACK ON THE S.C. DOME !"
Nine years ago the citizens of the State of S.C. were denied a vote by the State legislature on the issue of the Confederate flag flying on the State House Dome; and July 1st  2000 the flag was removed from the State House Dome; amid cries from the NAACP the Confederate flag is a racist symbol, and that "the Confederate flag was placed on the dome in an act of racism toward black peoples in the early 1960's". The S.C. legislature conceded to these demands, and the vote was intentionally denied to the people.
WE, THE CITIZENS, OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA
1) REJECT AND CORRECT THE NAACP CLAIM THAT THE CONFEDERATE FLAG IS A RACIST SYMBOL AND WAS PLACED ON THE DOME IN DEFIANCE OF SEGREGATION. (See "CIVIL WAR CENTENNIAL PROCLAMATION" in side bar )
WE, THE CITIZENS, OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA
2)  REJECT AND CORRECT THE DISGRACE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA IN DISRESPECTING THE VERY MEN THE STATE CALLED UPON - THE CONFEDERATE SOLDIER, THAT ANSWERED THECALL TO DUTY FROM HIS STATE.  A very shameful blot on S.C. history.
THEREFORE WE THE CITIZENS OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA
1.  DEMAND A VOTE ON THE ISSUE BY THE CITIZENS OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA AS TO WHETHER THE CONFEDERATE FLAG SHOULD FLY ON THE SOUTH CAROLINA STATE HOUSE DOME, OR IS INCORPORATED IN THE STATE FLAG. A VOTE PREVIOUSLY DENIED THE CITIZENS OF THE STATE BY THE SOUTH CAROLINA STATE LEGISLATURE.
2.  DEMAND A VOTE that historically correct Confederate heritage history classes are taught in public school systems across the State of South Carolina, with honor due the Confederate soldier.

                                                          ISSUES
* S.C. State House Bill H-3588 (NAACP HATE BILL)
http://www.scstatehouse.gov/sess117_2007-2008/bills/3588.htm
Removal of the Confederate flag from the Confederate Soldiers Monument to be placed in a museum. effective 60 days of Governors signature. Last updated Monday June 22, 2009. *This Bill breaks the Heritage Compromise July 2000 to remove the Confederate flag from the State House dome to the Confederate Soldiers Monument.  OUTRAGE !!!
*Removal of the Confederate Soldiers Monument to the south side of the State House.
*NAACP racial extremists – racial hatred toward others based on manipulation and deceit.
                                                VOTING    DEMANDS
We, the people, The State of South Carolina, demand a vote on the issue(s) -
*Confederate flag placed back on the dome, or incorporated in State flag. (Same flag no tricks as in Georgia)
*Confederate heritage history classes  taught in all public school systems throughout S.C.
*A "White Slave" added to the "SLAVERY" monument on the S.C. State House grounds. (NAACP doesn't have a monopoly on slavery)
*Is the NAACP a racist organization ?  That’s right, we want a public vote on that too.

TALKING POINTS
A PEOPLES ISSUE
– If 80% of the citizens of the State of S.C. voted to keep the flag on the dome in the referendum – the flag should fly on the dome.
A VETERANS ISSUE Any legislator, black or white, is duty bound to honor the Confederate soldier the State called upon for service in time of war. If the State will not honor this veteran or any other veteran for that matter - The people should force the State to do so by voting on the issue.  No S.C. veteran should eva be forgotten. Bottom line, plain and simple. Otherwise, it's UN-AMERICAN.
The Confederate flag is not just a flag. It represents 300,000 veterans the State called upon and paid by Southern blood. This flag is not to be regulated to a museum, and woe to any legislator that says otherwise.
A RACIAL ISSUE- NAACP HATE BILL
http://www.scstatehouse.gov/sess117_2007-2008/bills/3588.htm
The NAACP new 'HATE BILL' H-3588....is motivated by hatred.  The NAAP is acclimating a new, younger generation that is publicly permissible to hate the Confederate heritage SC citizens and they do it openly in the legislature.
AN EDUCATIONAL ISSUE– Confederate heritage history classes are not taught in public school systems by complaints of racial extremists, which then enables an unjustified racism to be exploited by racial extremists – Dismantle this racism through public education.
AN NAACP ISSUE -
"Our fight for the heritage is not with the black peoples of the State, it is with the NAACP, distorting history, misleading black peoples, teaching hate, all amid claims of  the old and tired "R" word - "racism".
The Mississippi Issue - The people of Mississsippi got the vote, and the good black and white alike voted to keep their flag which incorporates the ST. Andrews Cross "symbolizing their rich heritage". - AND SENT THE NAACP PACKING WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT WE AUGHT TO DO HERE IN SOUTH CAROLINA. EXACTLY.
